Shopify vs Wix: Best eCommerce Platform for India (2025)
India's e-commerce market is unique. We need specific payment gateways (UPI), specific shipping aggregators (Shiprocket), and mobile-first experiences.
Payment Gateways
Both platforms support Razorpay, Cashfree, and Stripe. However, Wix doesn't charge extra transaction fees on top of the gateway fees, whereas Shopify charges usually 2% unless you use Shopify Payments (which isn't fully available in India yet).
Design Flexibility
Wix Studio: Infinite canvas. You can design exactly what you want.

Verdict
For dropshipping or massive inventories (10,000+ SKUs), Shopify wins. For brand-focused D2C stores and services, Wix Studio offers better value and design control.
